When it comes to gambling inside of a video game with fictional money, the real issue there has more to do with game rating. The EU law with regard to gambling seems oriented more toward things like loot boxes, which can cause actual financial harm in the real world and lead to real world irresponsible behavior. This is a tricky one, but I'm going to wager (heh) they won't change it.
